For 50 years I have been enjoying helping people find happiness here in my native SC. I still daily try to live out my slogan: "homes are my business" - by keeping up with all the best services I can offer!

 

I am proud to be a native South Carolinian. Originally from Chapin, reared on the banks of bear creek, I graduated from Newberry College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.   I have been a licensed and well respected real estate agent for over fifty years, in the real estate profession. Later, I added my broker's license and for ten of those years, my broker's license afforded me the experience of owning and operating my own real estate company, giving me wisdom I want to pass on to you!


Additionally, I have six years of employment experience in mortgage banking and financing which affords me an expert working knowledge of not only locating the right property, but also helping my clients understand the financing side of home buying and selling.   

In order to stay productive for my clients in the competitive Greater Columbia area market, I successfully maintain a cutting edge knowledge of real estate business affairs and related issues.  I participate regularly in professional education through certified related business affiliations. I have completed educational requirements for the prestigious GRI (Graduate, REALTOR Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) distinctions placing me in the top percentile of Real Estate Professionals nationally.


On a personal note, I have been married to my wonderful wife for 52 years and we have two grown sons who also reside in the Greater Columbia area. I am an active member of Grace Baptist Church in West Columbia and also serve the local community through membership in the Lexington Chamber of Commerce.


An avid baseball lover, I was offered a contract to pitch professionally upon graduation from high school. Although I chose the world of real estate banking and sales as my lifetime career, I still pitch it straight.
